Shipping

Global Home Solution, Inspection uses International AQL standard for the all product Inspections and can also work on the AQL suggested by the client.AQL is tolerance allowed to a samples size beyond which Defects will not be allowed.

With the detailed data the client can base a confirmed decision to accept or reject a shipment.

Factory and Social Audits

GHS Inspection is a quality control service provider which also conducts Factory Audits and Social Audits in India for all Buyers of the world importing out of India. We have trained Auditors who do factory and social audits only.\

Factory Audit is a thorough evaluation of the production facilities and organization structure to give details to the Buyer on capacity and capability of a product specific or as a whole capacity to produce a quality product on time.
An experienced auditor would conduct the Factory Evaluation with recording all the details of the factory in regards to:

  • Quality System: Quality policy / Purchase of raw material / Control of Non conforming products and their disposal. All records would be seen.
  • Factory premises and Factory boundary wall and its height and strength of the structure.
  • Machine list and the capacity of each machine with running schedule. All records would be checked
  • List of Products in Pipeline and Production. A complete record of shipped and still to be checked.
  • List of Products in Pipeline and Production. A complete record of shipped and still to be shipped would be made to give a data for buyer to base his decision.
  • Overall assessment of the Packaging area etc: The evaluator will look at the light, checking and packing facility at the factory. Departmental communication with all the different departments of the factory would be seen by looking at the records of such internal communication.
  • HRD – Role of HR from hiring to introduction to induction of the employee to his position. All trainings, understanding given to him for his new role in company.

GHS recommends Factory evaluations to be done before the order is placed so that the as buyer you have a detailed factory profile with complete list of the facilities and machines working condition and most of all the company has internal system to support the facilities to produce your ordered product on time. Factory Evaluation gives you a clear picture of the factory with all data to decide to work with the Factory or choose other factory for production of your order.

Social Audits

Social audits are done to ensure the production factory is in compliance with providing hygienic working conditions, with all safety standards, labour laws and child laws are followed. Auditor from GHS Inspection goes to the factory and walks through the entire factory looking through the facilities and records provided by Factory and noting all the details and then sends the observation to the buyer.
This is done to inform the Buyer where the Vendor stands out on:

  • Employment of Child / Prison / Forced Labor. Also does not Detains the Employees after working Hours without Employee’s Consent / or gives Employee Corporal / Financial Punishment.
  • Vendor is not biased on the basis of Caste / Creed / Sex / Religion gives fair chance to all Employees.
  • Vendor gives Fair Salary that is at Par /More than Local Laws of the State.
  • Also Vendor pays the Salary for the Overtime as per Local Law.

Consultancy for CTPAT Compliance

The Customs – Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a supply chain security initiated by US Customs and Border protection, for enhancing the security of the private companies to counter terrorism.

GHS sends an auditor to the factory; the auditor visualises and screens the factory area and area around the factory and goes through various records maintained by factory. The area he assesses includes:

  • Factory entry gate and security at the gate and security of the premises.
  • Factory premises and Factory boundary wall and its height and strength of the structure.
  • He looks into the record of the ids submitted by the various persons entering the factory for supplying goods, meeting the staff, personal guest and drivers of the vehicles.
  • The factory staff hiring processes and is factory HR looking and verifying the past records.
  • Place for Container and container security and verification of the container driver.
  • Packed carton ready to ship area and factory staff responsible
  • Factory staff responsible for handling and controlling container seals.
Guidance for External Audit

We also provide a facility of Consultancy guidance to a factory to attain compliance as per the requirement of the FSC standards and make it ready for the FSC audit from an accreditations agency.

An auditor from GHS goes to the factory and evaluates the systems, procedures, records and advises the factory’s concerned departments with all the requirements. The auditor then works with the factory and develops a system with processes and procedures. The factory required departments starts making the changes and start documenting the processes as per procedures keep the records of all documents as per the requirement of the FSC standards.

The guidance helps the factory to come in terms with the requirement of the FSC standards.

We also provide consultancy to the factories for over all compliance as per the buyer’s requirement. We explain the factory the need of a compliant factory to the buyer. We provide the factory all necessary documents specially designed as per the factory requirement. We train different department employees on the system and ensure they understand the importance of the system and their role in the system.

We train them on internal meeting, documentation among departments.

We give training from buying of Raw material and documenting it to putting the rawmaterial to production process to packing and final despatch.

Wherein the buyer can trace and link the Final product to the raw material.

The consultancy is given to the factory for improvement on safe, hygienic, ethical, working environment of the factory.

Maintaining of Machine area with proper Safety one stop button on machine, proper shield and blade covers, eye glass, clean water to wash eyes, clutter free and timely cleaning of work area etc.

Proper eating place and water at the time of lunch.

Proper medicine and emergency preparations with trained team members to help.

Emergency and fire drills for safe escape at time of emergency.

Proper maintenance of personal files of employees are some points which we explain in depth for proper Social compliance.

The Customs – Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is an important compliance which factory to understand and comply with it.

The auditor from GHS goes to the factory and assesses the overall security situation and looks at the records maintained by the factory and guides them to make a system which includes:

  • Securing the outer boundaries and lighting them.
  • Factory Gate and internal security.
  • Documents required to be furnished by the Guest / suppliers / Vehicles entering the factory premises and their drivers.
  • Factory employee security and past records.
  • Container security and documents to be furnished by the Container driver
  • Employee responsible for the Secure area where cartons are kept
  • Secure carton loading area and recording to be done at the time of loading of container.

We also provide consultation for making a strong Quality system for the factory. The Auditor from the factory closely looks at the working of the factory and identifies the weak links in the chain of quality control. Then he makes the suggestions and designs quality hierarchy defining duties from Manager to checking supervisor to checker.

Making documents including daily packing report to daily checking report till final packaging of the order and Inspection of shipment by internal quality inspectors at various stages of production – first pc inspection to 5% production inhouse to 20% production inhouse to 40% production inhouse and 20% packed then 80% packed.

This document will also include testing of the product as per internal testing the product before producing bulk.
